Soaring Master

 I was going thru my stack of canvas’s and found one that I had made the drawing on over a year ago.  Sometimes I get into the drawing mode and do a number of the canvas’s at once, then set them aside.  It got mixed up with all the blank ones, and completely forgotten.  It made my day to find one ready to go!  The photograph was done by a lady on the camera forum that I belong to.  It’s a beautiful shot and I thought it needed to become a painting. 

We have a number of these around my area.  Many times I have seen them swoop down close to the big tree outside my house.  The first thing that always enters my mind is……where is Scruffy?  Scruffy is a miniature Schnauzer that has been my best friend for the past 10 years or more.  I would hate to see him being fed to hungry chicks in the nest.  I’ve said that everyone has to eat and that I shouldn’t be mad at an animal for doing something that is purely natural……but I would be totally out of control on that one!
