COWBOY TOM - SADDLE UP

"COWBOY TOM - SADDLE UP" was the first painting in my "Cowboy Tom" western series.   After meeting Tom at his home in New Mexico and seeing his workshop, I immediately knew paintings would follow.    He makes saddles, some of which are reproductions of those used during the civil war era.   He also hand-makes knives, spurs and conchos. The guy even writes cowboy poetry!   He is a true artist and a cowboy to his core. 

The painting is 40”x 30”, oil on canvas with a gallery wrap.
