Whale IN THE BLUE

I fish a lot off the Oregon Coast.  We see whales almost every time we go out.  Often they’ve come up to blow within 30 feet of our boat which always thrills me.   These are one of the most interesting and unique creatures on the planet.  I truly enjoyed painting this and it was the first painting I did after over a year of being laid up with a broken back
