Decades of Potential

When I was a kid, we could see lots old cars abandoned around the farmyards. When the hotrod stage of the 60's came in, many of them were gathered up to turn into some gearhead's toy while many of them were left to rust into the ground. The original photograph of this car was sent to me by Jim Erickson. he shot this in the old ghost town of Brodie, California. I thank you, Jim. We would always see pheasants around the old farm. The brushier the better. I wanted to portray a scene from my youth, and enjoyed every stroke of the brush.
