Outrunning the storm

I LOVE THE LOOK OF A Bald Eagle. Quite a number of times, here lately, I have seen one of them soaring over my property. Although it thrills me to see them, I worry about my best buddy, my four legged friend, SCRUFFY.
He would be an easy meal for them. I wanted to show this guy meandering away from a front that is moving in. I worked on this painting over many months, trying to finally get what I had in my head.
