ACRYLIC SEASCAPE

“ACRYLIC SEASCAPE”  Last year was our 50^th wedding anniversary so to celebrate, my wife and I took a 3-week trip to New Zealand.  We drove a rental car over 3,000 miles, on the wrong side of the road, visiting both Islands.  I pulled over every chance I found, photographing ocean, rivers, waterfalls, flora and fauna.  I love painting seascapes and am always enthralled at how different the ocean looks depending on location, the weather and time of day.   This painting started with a reference photo taken on the North Island.  I’ve painted hundreds of seascapes in oils but this is the first I’ve done in acrylics.  I hope you enjoy it.
